I was always very artsy as a kid. Aside from my messy teenage room, everything else I enjoyed making beautiful. Always re-organizing things, shifting things around & matching colors.
While Académie Des Beaux Arts remained a dream (thanks, Mom and Dad!), their push towards a "stable" career led me to business administration. But guess what? The urge to create beauty never faded, if anything, grew! Even spreadsheets and presentations became canvases for my creativity.
